The STEM the Gap Conference will be hosted on the 27th June 2019 at the MTC, in celebration of the centenary of the Women’s Engineering Society. The day will consist of talks, interactive workshops and panel discussions, addressing diversity and inclusion within the engineering community, bridging the gap in STEM at schools, how STEM is perceived through the media, and career and family balance through discussions about shared parental leave and working parents. Breakfast will be provided in the morning to give the opportunity for everyone to network with high profile speakers and attendees. There will also be the opportunity to visit the MTC facilities and its state-of-the-art workshop.
