News Bacteria early alert system benefits from MTC ‘product incubator’

A cell monitoring technology company are on the brink of bringing its revolutionary bacteria early warning system to mass market after collaborating with The Manufacturing Technology Centre.

CellFacts Analytics has been working with the MTC’s Product Manufacturing Incubator (PMI) team for six months to develop its CellFacts II System, which allows aqueous fluids to be checked for traces of bacteria in as little as two and half minutes as opposed to a 'usual' timescale from 24 hours to five days.

Development work is currently ongoing with the technology and sector targets as part of the process.

Dr Crawford Dow, founder of CellFacts Analytics, said: “If we’d been going it alone I dread to think where we would be at the moment. We’re much, much closer than we would have ever have been.”

Watch the video as Dr Dow and the MTC’s Dean Baker and Rob Almond, explain the benefits of the collaboration and how the technology is moving forward.
