The main purpose of this role is to support the Design & Simulation theme, in particular the Business & Factory Optimisation team, with project-based creative problem solving, solution concepts, system design and optimisation.

The post holder is expected to apply extensive knowledge and experience of managing discrete event simulation studies on real engineering problems to look at the effects on the complete business systems to ensure MTCs clients can achieve their broad ranging goals as they drive towards achieving manufacturing excellence.

The post holder is expected to conduct analysis to define and understand business problems and identify potential solutions and strategies to implement change.
