It’s not every day that you can say that the work you do helps to impact society, the Right Way, but that is just one of the unique benefits of securing a role within the MTC, where we are proud to be a Times 100 Best Company.

We have an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy individual to be responsible for supporting and developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales & Dynamics 365 Marketing applications. With an analytical approach, you will gain a strong understanding of the sales process and the department's system requirements, translating the workflow into the practical system functionality. You’ll liaise closely with internal stakeholders, attending meetings to gain a thorough insight into the processes that work and those that need improving, implementing changes directly or working with the technical team to develop more detailed solutions to enhance the system capabilities. You’ll also be involved in managing the specific data, ensuring that the documentation is accurately maintained, allowing the team to make business decisions through detailed reporting.

To be successful, you will have a broad knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing and Sales applications, specifically configuration of: workflows, system & user interfaces, business processes and field management. An excellent communicator, you will be comfortable liaising with senior sales management to understand their business requirements and 3rd party stakeholders to implement system changes. You will prepare and deliver training sessions and will be adept at creating high quality functional documentation. Although not essential it would be advantageous if you were ITIL qualified (foundation level).

Our benefits package includes a competitive base salary as well as 25 days annual leave public holidays. In addition, there is an Employee Assistance Programme, ability to buy and sell holidays, cycle to work scheme, employee discounts and a fantastic pension scheme. If your role is in an area that is taking part in the fully flexible working week trial, your working week will be from Monday to Thursday and your annual leave entitlement will be adjusted to 20 days per annum.

About The MTC

The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) was established in 2010 as an independent Research & Technology Organisation (RTO) with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry – often referred to as ‘the valley of death’.

It represents one of the largest public sector investments in UK manufacturing and, after four years of planning and a 16 month build, the facility opened at Ansty Park in Coventry at the end of 2011.

In December 2011, there were 16 industrial members, 44 staff and just a few key pieces of equipment in the ‘workshop’.

Over the following seven years the MTC’s rapid growth has seen the expansion of our campus with the construction of three more facilities, including the opening of the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre and the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing.

Our role has also increased to cover not only R&D but also Training, Advanced Manufacturing Management and Factory Design.

We now have over 800 talented employees working with us.

During this time we have helped hundreds of companies across a range of industries and over 100 of them have become members of the MTC.
