Digitalising Manufacturing 2018 Grasping the opportunity

Digitalising Manufacturing 2018 Grasping the opportunity

Leading change and capitalising on the benefits across industry

One year on from Prof. Juergen Maier's launch of the Made Smarter review at our conference, where do we stand and what has changed? We will be welcoming our headline speaker Prof. Maier back to the MTC to find out how the Made Smarter vision is becoming a reality.

We also welcome keynote speaker Marcus Burton, director at Yamazaki Mazak and a member of the Made Smarter leadership team, who will give delegates an industry perspective on the expected impact of the initiative.

We'll be keeping the international aspect of the conference too, focusing on what we can learn from Germany, France, Italy and other key players, and how the UK can use this information to make quick progress on the digitalisation journey.

This year we are launching our innovation pitches - a brand new part of the conference where entrepreneurs, technologists and inventors get the chance to pitch their innovative ideas on factory digitalisation to the UK's manufacturing decision makers.

Thanks to those who put in an idea for factory digitalisation. We've received some brilliant ideas and our judges are now busy deciding who will get to pitch their idea at the conference. Want to find out who made it to the conference? Book your ticket today.

I was very impressed with the whole experience working with Steve and Dave.
They came onsite, listened and then saw the problems we were having with our process. We explained how we wanted the process improved and they delivered with a number of solutions.
I cannot fault their commitment, brilliant work for the Brilliant Factories project.
