Vicki Sanderson

Chief People Officer

"I am excited to be part of a rapidly expanding organisation that is working to ensure UK manufacturing is as efficient and effective as it possibly can be."

Vicki Sanderson joined the MTC in January 2018 as its first HR Director – a role specifically created following the rapid growth of the company.

She joined the MTC from Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, where she held a similar post for two years.

Prior to that, Vicki spent 20 years at Domino Printing Sciences and played a key role as Group Human Resources Director. During her time at the company, it grew from 1,000 employees and a turnover of £120m to 2,500 employees and £360m turnover by 2015. In 2010 it was named plc of the Year.

After completing a history degree at St David’s University College, she joined Sainsbury’s graduate training scheme. She subsequently moved to Tesco’s, where she worked in the company’s Management Development Centre developing innovative training and development solutions for senior managers and directors including future CEOs Sir Terry Leahy and Philip Clarke.

Vicki is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development; on the EEF Eastern Regional Board; a board member of Cambridge Network and a governor at Culford School.
