Join us on Wednesday, 25th June 2025, as we celebrate Armed Forces Day—a national event recognising the dedication and sacrifices of the British Armed Forces, including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and cadets.

At MTC, we are committed to supporting the Armed Forces Community and showcasing the vital role our military plays in national security, global peace efforts, and the wider industry. This event provides a unique opportunity to connect with military personnel, discover the benefits of reservist roles, and strengthen collaboration between organisations within Ansty Park.

Steve has been an active member of JLR’s Armed Forces community since 2014, initially supporting many service leavers with recruitment into the company but has been much more focussed latterly as a Co-Chair of JLR’s AFCN since 2022. This voluntary role, alongside his day job has given Steve a real sense of purpose, allowing him and the community to deliver on their commitment to make JLR an exemplar employer for those with links to the military.

A key global executive in the HSE profession within the energy and construction sectors for over 30 years. Marcus  has led high-performing global teams, with the majority of his career in the energy sector and the last 20 years in the global renewables industry.

My current role is senior security manager at MTC. I am proud to have served in the military for 33 years from the Falklands conflict to Afghanistan and every war zone in between meeting some great people on the journey. One thing it teaches you is to appreciate life, respect and value others while always trying to do what is right and proper. I have also been a Football coach and International talent scout for 40 years with various clubs and organisations.
