Following the Government’s pledge to remove RAAC from schools by 2029, industry leaders are reaffirming their commitment to supporting safe and effective solutions for education estates. Responding to this weeks announcement Steve Nesbitt of MTC said:
We welcome the Government's commitment to resolving the potential risks associated with RAAC in education estates and appreciate the complexities of a project of this scale. Each building or installation presents unique considerations, making it essential to focus efforts where they are most needed.
Through an Innovate UK-funded project, a number of non-invasive methods for detection and assessment have been proven, alongside strategies for remediation. MTC and its partners stand ready to assist estate owners in developing tailored approaches that deliver the best possible resolution for their specific needs.
