Brown & Holmes specialises in the design and manufacture of superior quality workholding and manual handling solutions both manual and automatic, producing 3D printed prototypes and delivering both precision machining and sub-contract machining solutions.

We have a nine man design team working in various software including Solid works, solid Edge, Siemens NX and Inventor.

Our products are sold worldwide benefitting from installation and support services.

We benefit from numerous quality accreditations including ISO 9001, 9100, 1400 and 18001 plus various blue chip customer approvals.

Founded in 1939, when two draughtsmen from Coventry went into business together, we are now celebrating over 80 years in business and are based across two sites in Tamworth, UK. 

Our original 18,000 sq.ft  site on Apollo Park contains a wide range of traditional machinery from which offer high quality workholding, automation, mechanical handling and precision machining services. Our capacity list includes 3 - 5 axis machines, CNC machines, horizontals, verticals, EDMs and lathes.

We work in a wide range of materials including aluminum, mild steel and titanium and Hastelloy . The second 18,000 sq. Ft. site, 250 meters away on Anders has a robot demonstration area, a dedicated assembly, test and inspection facility plus equipment to provide specialist 10 tone lifting capabilities. 

It also houses our own Apprenticeship training center and 3D printers. 3D printed prototypes can also made in different materials including carbon fibre, polyurethane, thermoplastics, acrylics and polymers. 

We are currently extending our machine tool capacity and can offer full 5 axis machining. 

We are proud to represent the following products in the UK and Ireland, Techman and Automata Robots, Fresmak vices, Peiseler indexing tables, Swiss Chucks and Mistbuster clean air machine Tool extraction units.
