Dr Chris Nex is Head of Advanced Manufacturing Project Development at Rolls-Royce and has acquired a wealth of experience in Manufacturing gained from various senior technical roles within the business since joining the Company in 1998.
In his current role at Rolls-Royce, he is actively engaged in the development of Manufacturing Processes & leads the growth of Manufacturing Engineering specialists across the Group.
Chris has a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with Japanese Studies and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield. He is a Rolls-Royce Fellow in Manufacturing Technology, a Director of Melase Ltd (a joint venture between Rolls-Royce & Unipart) and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Chris currently chairs the Programme Board at the MTC and has been a member of the Board since 2019.
